Original Art piece. Mix Media, watercolor heron painted onto handmade botanical print made from real leaves. Watercolor paper is soaked in water and a mordant and then bundles are made with the paper and leaves. The bundles are steamed for 2 to 4 hours. The paintings are varnished and sealed with cold wax. The artwork is adhered to a gallery canvas and framed in a natural colored frame that is 2” deep.
